Physician Office Manager Job Description:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the business side & clinical side of medical practice (3-pronged: customer service side; business operations and office staff maintenance) required to ensure steady workflow and uninterrupted physician office services including the office practice business over-sight; administrative staff hiring; administrative staff oversights (Nurses, medical assistants [MA], office technicians, certified nursing assistants [CNA] and contracted entities); financial aspects of the practice (billing reviews/follow-ups, banking, book keeping, records reconciliations); overseeing seamless operations of the few CLIA-waved Point of Care testing from the office; equipment procurement, equipment uses/upkeeps; and public relations.

Office Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
Our office is highly electronic in that we are equipped with integrated Electronic Health Records [EHR]; Practice Management [PM]; Patient Engagement [PE] and Patient Care Coordination [PCC] software in a single platform, and we have outsourced billing arrangements. Our operations built with high efficiency and integration philosophy de-emphasizes unnecessary paper-work and unnecessary re-works. Our office manager will therefore be expected to train and become a super use of our integrated EHR and Practice Management & Scheduling software; responsible for hiring and training office staff; ensuring staff conducts and staff performance reviews. He/she will ensure that our facility is safe, cleaned and suitable for patient care and staff services alike. He/she oversees the selection of supplies and equipment used in the facility and ensures that equipment works properly. He/she oversees the financial aspects of the business, such as billing review, bill resubmission, basic office practice book keeping, and banking. Our office manager will be designated as the office administrator for our online portals with insurance and for our patient portals. He/she will attend periodic practice network meeting and represent Meadowbrook Medical Group at such meeting with the plan to report back to the president about news of the meeting. He/she will oversee the development and implementation of our marketing and public relation practices. Most importantly our manager will work with our physicians and management team comfortably.
Qualifications:
Target candidate should have an outgoing personality, comfortable with the use computer software and customer service—noting that our primary customers are our patients and our staff alike. Qualified candidate should be interested in and/or have prior experience in healthcare office administration. We will train our staff especially in the use of our office electronic systems. A Four-year college degree is a plus but not required. Spanish language command is a plus. Three or more years of experience in health care office administration and/or completion of at least 12 college credits in business management are pluses, but not required.
Salary:
Competitive. Start part-time until fully trained in the use of our office practice electronic platform, business operation and office environment. Convert to full time employment thereafter with benefit packages.
